This month, we introduced ZenduCAM’s Historical Streaming, which enables users to stream recorded footage directly from individual SD cards for immediate review and analysis. Additionally, the new Geotab Map Add-In allows users to view exceptions, request videos, live stream, and monitor telematics measurements all in one place, streamlining operations and increasing efficiency. This month also saw updates to trip and exception reports, providing detailed insights, and the launch of a Fuel Consumption report to help monitor fuel usage. For freight operations, we now offer a low-cost, replaceable/rechargeable asset tracking option with inbuilt temperature and humidity sensors.

Historical Streaming for ZenduCAM Devices

We are thrilled to introduce the new Historical Streaming feature for Zenducam Devices, allowing users to stream recorded footage directly from the SD card. This enhancement provides immediate access to past recordings, offering a seamless and efficient way to review and analyze historical data.

To access historical streaming:

1. Wake Up the Camera: Ensure the camera is active.
2. Select Time Frame: Choose the specific time frame of the recordings you want to stream.
3. Stream Duration: Each streaming session lasts up to 5 minutes.
4. Session Limits: Only one session can be active at a time; two users cannot stream simultaneously.
5. Request Footage: After locating the needed footage, users can request the video to be uploaded.

This feature allows for quick review and analysis of historical data without waiting for downloads or data transfers. Streamlined access to recorded footage reduces the time and effort needed to find specific events or incidents, while improved data management ensures critical data is preserved and readily available for review, as can be seen below:

 

 

 

New Geotab Map Add-in with ZenduCAM

Hold on, because there’s a new add-in for the Geotab map, enhancing your ability to manage fleet operations! This feature allows users to:

1. View Exceptions: Identify and review exceptions directly on the map.
2. Request Videos: Request video footage associated with specific exceptions or locations.
3. Live Stream: Access live video streams from your cameras within the Geotab map interface.
4. View Measurements: Monitor various telematics measurements directly on the map.

To use the new add-in:

1. Expand Side Panel: Expand the side panel on the right side of the map.
2. Select Add-In: Select “ZenduCAM Map Addin.”
3. Pick a Device: You will see a message saying “Pick the device on the map.”
4. Select a Vehicle: Choose a vehicle from the vehicles list, or click on the vehicle icon or name on the map.
5. View Data: The exception, measurements, and camera view for the selected vehicle will appear.

This add-in streamlines operations by consolidating data and video feeds into a single interface, reducing the need to switch between different applications.
