The build number shows the month of release, for example: 5.7.1512.xxx release\/2015-12.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In this Edition:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Map Enhancements<\/li>\n<li>Reporting Enhancements<\/li>\n<li>Localization<\/li>\n<li>Minor User Interface Enhancements<\/li>\n<li>Firmware Notes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Map Enhancements<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofleet.com\/geotab-sdk-extended-functionality\/\">Geotab empowers fleet managers with several new ways to interact with the map<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick View for Individual Vehicle Trips:<\/strong> A new feature makes it possible to quickly view the different trips a vehicle has made on the map. The Trips History displays where a vehicle has been on a particular date. Putting your mouse over any trip in the left-side trip list will now highlight the corresponding trip on the map.<\/p>\n<p>Note: A trip begins when the vehicle starts moving and ends when the vehicle starts moving again after a stop. Any idling is associated with the previous trip.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12894\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gofleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/fig1-trips.gif\" alt=\"mygeotab view individual trips\" width=\"1046\" height=\"274\" \/><br \/>\n<em><strong>Figure 1:<\/strong> Mouse over a trip to view the corresponding route on the map.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nearest Vehicle Toggle On\/Off Added:<\/strong> Toggle action has been added to the <strong>Nearest<\/strong> map view option. In a map, left-clicking on a road, then selecting <strong>Nearest<\/strong> will show the nearest vehicles to that location in a tooltip.<\/p>\n<p>When the button is toggled on, the tooltips and vehicle are shown. When toggled off, the vehicle remains visible on the map but the tooltip is hidden. The toggle prevents having to clear the map, which will be a time-saver for managers of large fleets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One-Click Dispatching from Live Map:<\/strong> Dispatching has been simplified! MyGeotab users can now dispatch vehicles directly from the live map. Left-click on the map at a particular address, then click <strong>Dispatch vehicle here<\/strong> to send a dispatch text message to a driver using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofleet.com\/product\/geotab-drive-hos-dvir-solution\/\">Geotab Drive app<\/a> or a Garmin device.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12895\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gofleet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/fig2-dispatch.gif\" alt=\"mygeotab dispatch vehicles\" width=\"1062\" height=\"585\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Figure 2:<\/strong> Send dispatch messages to drivers with a single click on the live map.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Google Street View Trip Replay:<\/strong> Enrich your knowledge of trips with Google Street View. See for yourself the routes your drivers are taking. Replay a trip through Google Street View using the Trips Street View Add-In \u2014 featuring pause, rewind, and skip ahead options. Once added into your database, you can view it under the Activity link. Recently, the following enhancements were made for MyGeotab reporting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fill-ups:<\/strong> You can now download, customize, create dashboards, and schedule Microsoft Excel reports for fuel fill-ups. New colored icons in the Fill-ups report show potential discrepancies, such as a fill-up being larger than the known tank size, mismatched locations, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Note: This feature is in beta. Dashboards:<\/strong> To harmonize viewing and reporting, MyGeotab users can now set their preference for their week start day. To configure a user\u2019s preference, go to <strong>Administration &gt; User<\/strong>, select the user, then click <strong>Options<\/strong>. At the <strong>Weeks starts on<\/strong> drop-down menu, select either Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Previously, In order to edit your own dashboard (Rearrange reports, add or remove remove reports) you need to have the clearance \u201cAdminister Users\/Drivers\u201d enable.
